“I thoroughly enjoyed the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) program. My favorite part about the CDF program was reviewing career information and learning about new resources. It was great to dust off resources that I had forgotten about. The face-to-face sessions were excellent. In addition to the face-to-face sessions, my instructor created an enjoyable, interactive online learning environment with rich discussions and valuable career information. She truly recognized and appreciated the professional achievements of each CDF candidate. I strongly recommend the CDF program; and I strongly recommend Marie Smith, she is an effective instructor with comprehensive expertise in the career development field. The NCDA CDF career development competencies strongly align with academic advising and career advising. Professional development is important to me. I strongly recommend that academic advisors, career counselors, and student affairs professionals participate in the CDF program.” ~Susan Hawkins-Wilding
