As Director of Career Development at Carthage College, Jason Pruitt is responsible for assisting students with career exploration as well as all aspects of the job search process. Jason began his career working in corporate human resources where his duties included recruitment, training, payroll administration, visa processing, and employee relations. He began working at Carthage in May 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and received a Master of Human Resource & Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Jason is truly passionate about educating people on the importance of managing one’s career early on as well as the importance of networking.
His career development credentials and professional involvement include: President Elect and Communications Chair for Wisconsin Private College Career Consortium, Ethics Committee for National Career Development Association, Qualified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Administrator, and Career Development Facilitator.
