Sherri L. Arnold works for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. at the Kenosha County Job Center. As the Supervisor of Administrative Services, Sherri is responsible for human resources, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and grant writing. Sherri also provides assistance with curriculum development, workshop facilitation, workforce development training, and resume development.
In addition to her administrative and supervisory duties, Sherri also coordinates Holiday House which provides coats in October and food and toys in December to underprivileged children and their families. This program is serving approximately 5,600 unduplicated individuals yearly. Sherri very much enjoys her work, it is both interesting and challenging. In Sherri’s capacity at Goodwill Industries, she performs many functions in addition to supervision. She has a Degree in Supervisory Management.
Sherri’s community involvement includes serving as President of Wisconsin Social Services Association, as well as, Conference Planning Co-Chair, Vice-President of the 4H Council of Kenosha County, Countywide 4H Scrapbooking leader for Kenosha County, Club Project Leader for Wheatland Willing Workers 4H Group, Bethel Guardian of Bethel #79 Job’s Daughter’s International, as well as serving on the Manual of Rules and Regulations committee and the Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment Fund committee for Job’s Daughters International in Wisconsin. She is also an active member of Emergency Services Network for Kenosha County, Long Term Care Workforce Alliance, Home & Community Educators in Kenosha County and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Additionally, Sherri has served as mentor to elementary school students in the Kenosha Unified School District through the Kenosha Area Business Alliance for the past four years.
Sherri and her other half, Mike, have been together for 18 years and they are the proud parents of a daughter, Ashley. In addition to her busy schedule with Ashley, Sherri also has 6 other “children” – Luke and Ben their dogs (Ben is neurotic) and Toby, Brett, Patrick and Oliver their cats.
