“I feel that the Career Development Facilitator credential has made me a complete academic advisor. Now, more than ever before, I feel competent to advise students on talents and strengths, career paths, labor market information, and so much more. It was an interactive curriculum and I was able to enhance my current knowledge and skills while building new ones. It was an enjoyable experience and I feel I am better able to tie the loose ends between theory and practice through the 12 comprehensive competencies. I enjoyed the CDF class thoroughly. I learned new concepts and ideas. I am putting them to good use already with my students. I want to thank my CDF instructor, Marie Smith, for being my guide through this new and exciting “career” journey. I learned an immense amount of useful, relevant career development information from her.” ~Dr. Madhumita (Mita) Banerjee
